Ad Specifications
|
Advertising banners must conform to the following specifications:
- JPEG or GIF format, active GIFs are acceptable
- Width=468 pixels; Height=60 pixels
- 16 colors preferred
- File Size must be less than or equal to 10 Kbytes
- No transparent background
- Images cannot be image maps
- 72 dpi at actual size
Please note that if the banner is not the specified size, it will be automatically scaled to fit. However, DesiChat will not accept responsibility for the quality of the results. If you would like further information please contact us.

Conditions
|
- These rates are exclusive of any graphic or image processing.
- Rates are for banners in the ad space at the bottom of the chat screen. These banners are rotated every 3 minutes, with each 3 minute period being counted as a single impression. This is the prevailing industry standard for banner advertisement on Chat sites.
- Statistics on the number of impressions served and the number of click-throughs can be viewed by the advertiser, using a password supplied by us.
- We will not run ads that in our sole discretion may offend our visitors. As such, we reserve the right to reject any banner without assigning any reason. A refund for all unused impressions will be provided to the client in such instances.
- These rates are for untargeted banner ads. We do offer targeted banner ads at a higher tariff. Please contact us for details.

Web Page Hosting and Banner Ad Development Charges
|
If you don't have a website, or suitable banners, our affiliate DesiChatPK.com can develop your ad and can host the corresponding Web page that can be linked to it.
- Web page hosting and Ad designing charges US$ 200. We will design your ad and one web page that will be linked to it and host it at our server for the duration of the ad on DesiChat. Emails generated from these pages will be sent directly to an email address specified by the client.
- Banner Ad designing charges (without a web page) are US$ 125. The banner can be linked to a URL specified by the client.
